Privacy policy

We collect as little personal data as possible, keep it only as long as we need it, and never sell it. This page explains exactly what happens to the information you send us.

1. Who is responsible

This website, capital.vina.trade, is operated by Vina Blockchain Capital, the investment arm of THiG — Thi Holding Investment Group, operated by Vinathis Corporation ("we", "us", "our"). We act as the controller of the personal data described below.

For any privacy matter, write to capital@vinathis.com with "Privacy" in the subject line, or to any of the postal addresses on our contact page.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact and submission details: your name, company or protocol, e-mail address, telephone or messaging handle, the topic you select and the content of your message.
  • Materials you send: decks, financial models, cap tables, audit reports and any other documents you choose to share, which may contain personal data about your team.
  • Onboarding data: if a relationship progresses, identity and source-of-funds documentation required by applicable KYC and AML rules.

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs kept by our hosting provider, which typically include IP address, date and time, requested URL, referring page and browser user-agent. These are used for security and availability, not for marketing.
  • Third-party embeds. Certain pages load content from external services (see section 4), which receive your IP address and technical browser information directly.

Note: this website is served as static files. The contact and submission forms do not transmit data to us — they compose a message in your own e-mail client, which you then choose to send. Nothing you type into a form is stored on this website.

3. Why we process it, and on what legal basis

Purposes of processing and the corresponding legal basis
PurposeLegal basis
Responding to your enquiry or funding submission Your consent, and our legitimate interest in operating an investment business
Evaluating an investment opportunity and conducting diligence Legitimate interest; steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract
Identity, sanctions and source-of-funds checks Compliance with legal obligations (KYC / AML)
Maintaining records of decisions and correspondence Legal obligation and legitimate interest in defending legal claims
Protecting the website against abuse and attack Legitimate interest in information security

We do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal effects, and we do not sell personal data to anyone.

4. Cookies and third-party embeds

We do not set our own tracking cookies and we do not run an advertising network on this website. However, the following third-party components are embedded on some pages and may set cookies or receive technical data directly from your browser:

  • Coinlib price ticker — displays live cryptocurrency prices at the top of most pages.
  • Live KPI databoard — our own dashboard, which in turn loads market data and a visual effects library from public content-delivery networks.
  • Google Fonts — used to load the site's typefaces.

These embeds are loaded only when they come into view. Each provider processes your data under its own privacy policy, over which we have no control. If you prefer to avoid them entirely, you can block third-party content in your browser settings — the pages remain readable.

5. Who we share data with

We share personal data only where necessary, and only with:

  • other entities within the THiG group involved in evaluating or servicing your enquiry;
  • professional advisers — lawyers, auditors, accountants — under a duty of confidentiality;
  • service providers such as our hosting and e-mail providers, acting on our instructions;
  • co-investors or partners, where you have asked us to make an introduction or have consented to it;
  • regulators, courts or law-enforcement authorities where we are legally required to do so.

6. International transfers

We operate from the United States, Germany and Vietnam, so your data may be accessed in any of these countries. Where data originating in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom is transferred outside it, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, together with additional technical and organisational measures where required.

7. How long we keep it

  • Declined submissions: up to 24 months, so that we can recognise a returning team and explain a previous decision.
  • Active discussions and portfolio records: for the duration of the relationship.
  • KYC / AML records: for the period required by the applicable law, generally at least five years after the relationship ends.
  • General correspondence: up to 36 months from the last exchange.
  • Server logs: as configured by our hosting provider, typically a short rolling period.

You may ask us to delete your data sooner — see section 9.

8. Security

We apply access controls, encryption in transit (HTTPS), device security policies and the principle of least privilege to the systems holding your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send passwords, private keys or seed phrases to us — we will never ask for them.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, e-mail capital@vinathis.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We will respond within one month, and we may ask you to verify your identity first. If you are in the EEA or the UK and are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with your national data-protection authority.

10. Children

This website is intended for professional and adult audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes affecting people we are already in contact with will be communicated by e-mail where practicable.
